Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and skilled Senior DevOps Engineer, Security to join the infrastructure team in a full-time remote role, where the candidate will lead projects enhancing security, system reliability, and developer experiences while collaborating across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to projects focused on security enhancements, system reliability, and developer experience improvements
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to address security challenges across various platforms and services
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and compliance initiatives, and participate in security reviews of third-party vendors

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years managing production workloads within containerized environments
• 5 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) implementations emphasizing security best practices
• Proficiency with Docker, container orchestration platforms, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby)
• Solid understanding of relational databases and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, NewRelic, or CloudWatch
