Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To architect and maintain robust AWS infrastructure, the fully remote Senior DevOps Engineer will manage critical system migrations, enhance application reliability and security, and collaborate with development teams while participating in a weekly on-call rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement infrastructure for seamless migrations of critical systems, prioritizing uptime and reliability
• Design, build, and maintain tooling and processes for scalable SaaS products on AWS
• Partner with developers to enhance the reliability, performance, security, and scalability of application architecture

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in an Ops, DevOps, or SRE role with experience in system design and architecture
• Proficiency in the AWS ecosystem, including IAM, VPC, EC2, and Lambda, and experience with Terraform/Terragrunt
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and monitoring tools like DataDog or Grafana
• Ability to read and work with languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, and JavaScript
• Experience with ECS or EKS and knowledge of secure-by-default practices is a plus
