Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based applications while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using OpenTofu and manage Kubernetes workloads on Amazon EKS
- Develop automation and operational tooling with Python and scripting languages, and manage GitOps deployments using Argo CD and Helm
- Troubleshoot production issues, support incident response, and improve CI/CD pipelines for deployment reliability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or related fields
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and production experience with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using OpenTofu, Terraform, or similar tools
- Proficient in scripting or development with Python
- Experience supporting Aurora PostgreSQL, ElastiCache Redis, and Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ in production environments
