Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the evolution of a multi-region AWS platform, the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will manage production infrastructure, ensure reliability and security, and spearhead a strategic migration to bare-metal systems while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and evolve AWS multi-account/multi-region infrastructure with zero-downtime deployments
- Lead the planning and execution of a migration strategy from AWS to rented bare-metal infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering teams on release automation and maintain a hybrid operational platform
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/platform roles with production ownership
- Deep knowledge of AWS services, including VPC, ECS, IAM, and RDS
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management at scale
- Experience with CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and automated deployments
- Strong Linux networking skills and proven experience in planning migrations to on-prem or colo environments
