Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Telecommuting on a contract basis, the Senior DevOps Engineer will partner with architects and application development teams to evaluate cloud services, automate provisioning using tools like Terraform, and ensure the security and resilience of public cloud applications.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to assess new cloud services and features
- Write code and scripts to automate cloud service provisioning and enhance CI/CD pipelines
- Manage public cloud environments while applying Site Reliability Engineering principles
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Working knowledge of core Google Cloud Platform services
- In-depth understanding of Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline creation
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems
- Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Jira, and SonarQube
