Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support an innovative technology organization, the contract-to-hire Senior DevOps Engineer will work remotely to build and enhance deployment systems for cloud-native applications on a Kubernetes-based platform, collaborating with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance deployment systems supporting cloud-native applications and platform services
- Design and implement Kubernetes deployment strategies utilizing ArgoCD and internal tools
- Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, deployment, and orchestration
- Experience implementing and managing ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployments
- Previous software engineering experience with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience designing and supporting deployment platforms and CI/CD workflows
