Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support an innovative technology organization, the contract-to-hire Senior DevOps Engineer will work remotely to build and enhance deployment systems, enabling efficient application deployment and operation within a Kubernetes-based platform.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance deployment systems for cloud-native applications and platform services
- Design and implement Kubernetes deployment strategies using ArgoCD and internal tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and streamline application deployment processes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and orchestration
- Experience implementing and managing ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployments
- Previous software engineering experience with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Ability to design and support deployment platforms and CI/CD workflows
