Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To influence technical decisions across platform APIs and CI components, the remote Senior DevOps Engineer will lead architecture and strategy for Platform Services, focusing on Kubernetes deployment systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automation of operational processes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical direction of Platform Services for FedRAMP High and IL5 environments
- Design and enhance platform capabilities, including Kubernetes-based deployment systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Drive automation of operational processes to improve reliability and deployment consistency
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Operations with technical leadership in multi-team initiatives
- Strong object-oriented programming experience in languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, or Java
- Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS
- Proven ability to build platform tooling and self-service solutions to enhance developer experience
- Strong understanding of reliability, observability, security, and compliance in regulated environments
