Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a leading cloud software organization focused on highly regulated federal environments, the remote Senior DevOps Engineer will shape the architecture and technical direction of platform services, driving automation, platform reliability, and scalable deployment capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical strategy for Platform Services supporting FedRAMP High and IL5 environments
- Lead the modernization of manual release processes through automated, policy-driven delivery pipelines
- Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to align platform capabilities and drive technical decision-making
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or related disciplines
- Strong software engineering foundation with experience in Python, Go, Ruby, Java, or similar languages
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and cloud-native application platforms
- Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Strong knowledge of AWS, distributed systems, and production operations
