Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the architecture and strategy for Platform Services, the remote Senior DevOps Engineer will influence technical decisions related to CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployment systems, and automation processes while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and enhance platform capabilities, including Kubernetes-based deployment systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Drive automation of operational, deployment, and compliance processes to improve reliability and consistency
- Partner with engineering, security, and operations teams to lead architecture reviews and ensure platform readiness
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Operations with technical leadership experience
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, or Java
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines in production environments
- Proven ability to build platform tooling and self-service solutions that enhance developer experience
- Strong understanding of reliability, observability, and compliance in regulated environments like FedRAMP High or IL5
