Senior DevSecOps Consultant

Job Summary

To support the hardening and operational security of a modern Kubernetes-based platform, the remote 1099 Senior DevSecOps Consultant will implement AWS security controls, secure core platform services, and improve compliance and stability using technologies like ArgoCD and GitOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and operationalize AWS hardening controls aligned to CMMC and Zero Trust principles
• Harden and secure core platform services including ArgoCD, Grafana, and related Kubernetes-native tooling
• Design and maintain secure GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and pull-based deployment models

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Kubernetes Engineering
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience within modern cloud-native environments
• Deep understanding of GitOps principles and pull-based deployment workflows
• Hands-on experience with ArgoCD in production environments
• Experience implementing and securing Kubernetes platform services and workloads
