Senior Digital Agriculture Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Digital Agriculture and Innovation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the digital agriculture programme and project portfolio in the region
• Develop analytical frameworks and provide evidence-based recommendations for digital agriculture readiness
• Oversee the implementation of initiatives such as the Digital Villages Initiative and Hand-in-Hand initiative

Required Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in Agricultural Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in digital agriculture, IT, project management, or related fields
• Working knowledge of English and intermediate knowledge of a second FAO language
• Strong applied knowledge of digital technologies relevant to agriculture and food systems
• Demonstrated ability to conduct digital agriculture assessments and coordinate technical projects
