Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Digital Matte Painting Artist for a feature film set extension project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with VFX Supervisor, Art Director, and 3D modeling teams to understand visual style and requirements
• Create intricate and photorealistic 2D matte paintings to extend the practical set
• Seamlessly integrate 2D matte paintings with 3D assets for a cohesive final shot

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior DMP Artist in the VFX or film industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other relevant 2D painting tools
• Strong understanding of perspective, lighting, and composition
• Ability to integrate 2D matte paintings with 3D elements
• Experience with digital painting techniques and texture mapping
