Senior Digital UX Designer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Digital UX Designer will collaborate with product owners, software engineers, and business analysts to create intuitive user experiences across two projects by conducting user research, developing wireframes, and validating designs through usability testing.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, create user journeys and workflows, and develop wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Validate designs through usability testing and produce high-fidelity designs and specifications for implementation
- Establish consistent design patterns across products while balancing usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with complex web-based applications or enterprise software
- Strong portfolio demonstrating the end-to-end UX process, including user research and final UI designs
- Experience with Figma or comparable modern design tools for wireframing and prototyping
- Experience conducting user interviews and usability testing, incorporating feedback into design iterations
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG)
