Job Summary
Leading commercial assessments and forecasting models, the full-time Senior Director, Business Development will manage licensing, acquisition, and partnership opportunities in unfamiliar therapeutic areas while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive commercial assessments and develop defensible points of view for new market opportunities
- Design and lead primary market research programs, translating findings into actionable insights
- Build and implement flexible forecasting models to evaluate commercial potential and market dynamics
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in a scientific field
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech commercial strategy, BD analytics, or market research
- Demonstrated ability to build commercial conviction in new markets
- Experience in leading primary market research and synthesizing findings into recommendations
- Strong financial modeling skills, including revenue forecasting and scenario modeling
