Job Summary

Leading communications for Amgen's Cardiovascular portfolio, the full-time Senior Director, Corporate Affairs will develop integrated strategies, provide executive counsel, and manage a high-performing team, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a senior communications advisor to Cardiovascular leadership teams, providing strategic counsel based on business priorities and stakeholder insights
• Develop integrated communications strategies that align with business objectives and establish KPIs to measure outcomes
• Lead communications for key marketed products and prepare for future launches, including the potential launch of a new prostate cancer medicine

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 5 years of communications or public relations experience, or Master's degree and 8 years, or Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience
• 5 years of managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, or programs
• Significant experience in cardiovascular communications, including marketed products and regulatory milestones
• Strong understanding of data, analytics, and stakeholder insights as core inputs to communications strategy
• Practical experience using AI and digital tools to enhance communications effectiveness
