Senior Director, Data Center Management

Job Summary

Leading the management of data center intelligence and controls, the full-time Senior Director, Data Center Management will oversee the DCIM platform, ensure data integrity, and optimize capacity planning while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the DCIM platform and establish data quality governance to ensure accurate capacity and operational metrics
• Manage capacity planning and forecasting while reconciling power reserves to protect inventory and uptime
• Stabilize building automation controls and drive the closure of metering gaps to enhance data integrity and operational reliability

Required qualifications

• Hands-on leadership experience in controls, BAS, DCIM, or capacity engineering in mission-critical environments
• Deep understanding of BAS, telemetry, and DCIM, with the ability to interpret trend logs and capacity models
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including switchgear, UPS, and generators, and their behavior under load
• Experience with DCIM and environmental monitoring systems, including integration over BACnet, Modbus, and SNMP
• Proven track record of improving complex environments with measurable outcomes in data quality and team performance
