Senior Director, Data Science
Job Summary
Leading the MAU Analytics and Data Science team, the full-time Senior Director, Data Science will manage decision scientists and data scientists, develop models and analyses to drive user growth, and establish AI-native practices while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the decision science and data science teams, setting quality standards for analytics
- Own the MAU driver model and exploratory work to inform strategies for user acquisition and retention
- Collaborate with Revenue Analytics and Data Engineering to define metrics and unify operating practices across teams
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in analytics, data science, or decision science, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- Deep expertise in inferential and causal analytics, with the ability to lead machine learning practitioners
- Expert knowledge of engagement, retention, churn, and cohort metrics
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and experience with data analysis tools like Databricks and Tableau
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
