Senior Director, DevOps & AppSec

Job Summary

Leading the global DevOps function, the full-time Senior Director, DevOps & AppSec will own the strategy, execution, and operation of platforms and tooling, while managing a senior team and collaborating with cross-functional partners to enhance security and compliance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Set and execute the DevOps and platform engineering strategy across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of DevOps engineers, overseeing hiring and performance management
• Collaborate with Security, Data, and Product Engineering to integrate security and compliance into the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications:

• 12+ years in software engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps, with at least 8 years in management
• Experience building and operating modern cloud platforms at scale, preferably AWS
• Deep technical fluency in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration
• Proven track record of implementing security improvements without hindering engineering velocity
• Experience managing compliance processes such as SOC 2, PCI, or GDPR in collaboration with Security and Audit teams
