Senior Director, DFIR

Job Summary

Leading high-impact cyber investigations, the full-time remote Senior Director, DFIR will act as incident commander during complex security incidents, guiding organizations through response, investigation, and recovery while advising executives and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as incident commander for complex DFIR engagements, managing end-to-end processes
• Serve as the primary client lead, advising executives, legal counsel, and stakeholders during incidents
• Direct forensic analysis and investigations across various attack scenarios, translating findings into business risk guidance

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on DFIR experience in real-world incidents
• 6-10 years in client-facing consulting, incident response, or cyber advisory roles
• Proven experience as an incident commander or senior DFIR lead
• Strong background in ransomware and complex attack investigations
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, DFIR, or related field preferred
