Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of External Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute external communications strategy focused on key stakeholders
• Create and oversee content creation for various communication materials
• Lead initiatives to engage target audiences through storytelling and PR campaigns

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field; master's degree preferred
• 8-10+ years of experience in corporate or agency roles focusing on external communications/crisis management
• Experience with government affairs/government relations preferred
• Understanding of the online higher education landscape
• Proven ability to develop and lead external communications strategies and present recommendations to executive leadership
