Senior Director, Legal Programs

Job Summary

Building and leading institutional partnerships within the legal community, the full-time Senior Director, Legal Programs will develop programs and relationships with bar associations, access to justice organizations, and legal innovation groups to establish CoCounsel as the trusted AI platform for legal professionals, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop co-branded CLE programs on AI competency and ethics in partnership with bar associations
• Enhance CoCounsel's role in the access to justice ecosystem by collaborating with legal aid and pro bono organizations
• Cultivate relationships with specialty and affinity legal communities to promote AI adoption and programming

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in legal industry programs, bar association work, or related fields
• Established relationships with bar associations and legal aid organizations
• Strong understanding of the bar association landscape and CLE accreditation processes
• Proven ability to build institutional partnerships with a focus on credibility and accountability
• JD or deep legal industry fluency strongly preferred
