Senior Director Market Access Strategy Innovation

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Market Access Strategy & Innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team focused on identifying strategic and innovative opportunities to grow the market access across the product portfolio through the development and implementation of Market Access strategies and tactics
• Support development of pricing and contracting in collaboration with the Pricing & Contracting leadership
• Interface with cross-functional leadership to communicate and align on Market Access strategies

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in market access or related health economic or policy, or business discipline (PH.D, MD or MBA)
• 12+ years of demonstrated and extensive experience in market access, pricing, contracting, reimbursement strategies, and payer marketing
• Strong understanding of the complex and rapidly evolving factors influencing US market access, including reimbursement trends, payer concerns and healthcare policy
• Strong understanding of the US payer environment, payer market dynamics, payer marketing principles and how healthcare players make decisions across private & public channels
• Proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans, particularly in the pharma or healthcare sector
