Senior Director of Accounting

Job Summary

Leading the operational accounting function, the full-time Senior Director of Accounting will oversee the monthly close, general ledger integrity, and ERP migration while collaborating closely with the Chief Accounting Officer in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operational accounting function, including monthly and quarterly close processes and general ledger integrity
• Manage the end-to-end ERP migration in partnership with the Chief Accounting Officer
• Develop and lead the operational accounting team, ensuring effective management of AP, AR, and payroll processes

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of accounting experience, with at least 6 years in a senior operating role at a high-growth company
• Experience leading a company through its first audit
• Direct experience with ERP migration at a meaningful scale
• Operational fluency in ASC 718, 606, and 842
• Experience standing up SOX controls from scratch
