Senior Director of Accounting

Job Summary

Providing strategic oversight of financial accounting and reporting processes, the full-time remote Senior Director of Accounting will manage technical accounting excellence, including revenue recognition under ASC 606/IFRS 15, general ledger operations, SEC reporting, and financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting leadership team and provide strategic and operational guidance
• Drive scalable and efficient accounting operations while advising on complex transactions
• Oversee the implementation of accounting policies, training, and collaboration with auditors on SOX controls and audits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical/business experience
• 15+ years of relevant work experience in accounting with expertise in technical accounting and revenue recognition
• 5+ years of direct experience applying ASC 606/IFRS 15 in a SaaS, software, or technology company environment
