Senior Director of Actuarial Services
Job Summary
Leading a team of actuaries, the full-time Senior Director of Actuarial Services will provide strategic pricing direction and oversight of pricing processes while working remotely to enhance actuarial modeling concepts and collaborate with various departments on product costs and pricing strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Leads actuaries in providing strategic pricing advice using market research and complex actuarial modeling
- Collaborates with underwriters and senior leadership on pricing and risk management initiatives
- Develops and maintains forecasting assumptions related to utilization, unit cost, and benefit design
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 10 years of actuarial work experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare or the PBM industry
- 7 years of leadership experience
- Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA)
- Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship
