Senior Director of AI

Job Summary

Leading the establishment and scaling of enterprise AI capabilities, the full-time Senior Director of AI will oversee strategy, governance, and value delivery across the organization while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the enterprise AI strategy aligned with corporate objectives and ensure measurable business impact through prioritized AI initiatives
• Chair the Enterprise AI Governance Council, managing portfolio decision rights and establishing governance mechanisms to ensure disciplined investment
• Own and evolve the enterprise AI operating model, ensuring consistent delivery patterns and adherence to enterprise standards across federated teams

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience in data, analytics, or AI/ML roles, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions
• Proven experience in building enterprise-level AI capabilities in regulated environments, such as life sciences or healthcare
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing governance frameworks for AI and data management
• Track record of delivering large-scale transformation initiatives with measurable business impact
