Senior Director of AI Data

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of an AI-ready data foundation, the full-time Senior Director of AI Data will transform Marriott's data into reusable assets for AI systems, collaborating across various departments to define a multi-year roadmap that delivers measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the enterprise's shared vocabulary to ensure consistent data definitions across systems and models
• Lead the design and delivery of knowledge graph capabilities to enhance AI systems' ability to reason across relationships and context
• Create machine-readable metadata capabilities that ensure data assets are discoverable and usable by AI systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Management, Business, or a related field
• Ten or more years of experience in knowledge engineering, enterprise data, analytics, or related disciplines
• At least five years of experience in delivering enterprise-scale data, AI, or analytics capabilities
• Demonstrable experience in designing enterprise ontologies, semantic layers, or knowledge graphs
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a large, matrixed, global organization
