Senior Director of AI Solutions
Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Senior Director of AI Solutions will define and execute the AI and Data Science strategy across R&D, focusing on delivering scalable AI solutions while collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the strategic vision and roadmap for AI and Gen AI capabilities within R&D
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable AI solutions for complex R&D data needs
- Build and mentor a collaborative team of data scientists and AI/ML specialists while managing project timelines and resources
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of leadership experience in data science, AI/ML, and Gen AI, with at least 5 years in senior technical roles
- Proven experience in architecting and maintaining large-scale AI solutions in regulated environments
- Strong background in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry, particularly within R&D
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Gen AI and large language model applications in production
- Master's degree in Mathematical, Engineering, or Scientific disciplines; PhD preferred
