Senior Director of Biospecimen Management

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Senior Director of Biospecimen Management will oversee efficient biospecimen management across clinical trials, drive operational excellence, and foster strategic partnerships while reporting to the Executive Director within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Biospecimen Management team, ensuring high performance and talent growth
• Drive operational excellence in biospecimen management for all clinical trials, addressing risks and maintaining timelines
• Collaborate on strategic planning and process improvement initiatives to enhance biospecimen operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline; Master's or Doctoral degree preferred
• 10+ years of global experience in clinical drug development or clinical research with biospecimen management experience
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing global, cross-functional teams
• Advanced knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and clinical development processes
• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and manage vendor partnerships effectively
