Senior Director of Biostatistics

Job Summary

To support biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies, the full-time remote Senior Director of Biostatistics will manage strategic initiatives, oversee project progress, and provide consultancy on statistical issues while leading a team and integrating operations across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and de-escalate difficult situations with clients, teams, and management
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental goals and oversee project progress
• Provide consultancy to sponsors on statistical issues and support business development efforts

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in statistics or a closely related field
• 12+ years of experience in clinical trials design and analysis
• 7+ years of supervisory or managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of CDISC standards and advanced statistical concepts
• Advanced SAS programming skills and experience interacting with regulatory agencies
