Senior Director of Biostatistics

Job Summary

To support biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies, the full-time remote Senior Director of Biostatistics will manage project oversight, develop strategic initiatives, and provide consultancy on statistical issues while ensuring operational efficiency within the Biostatistics team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project progress and financial health within the Biostatistics group
• Lead process improvement efforts and integrate operations with other departments
• Support business development through participation in bid defenses and building trusted relationships with sponsors

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in statistics or a closely related field
• 12+ years of experience in clinical trials design and analysis
• 7+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Strong knowledge of CDISC standards and advanced statistical concepts
• Proven advanced SAS programming skills and experience interacting with regulatory agencies
