Senior Director of Business Development

Job Summary

Driving strategic partnerships in the AI ecosystem, the full-time remote Senior Director of Business Development will spearhead alignment with AI leaders, negotiate high-value commercial agreements, and identify new business opportunities to enhance DigitalOcean's AI-Native Cloud capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify emerging AI market opportunities and define partnership playbooks
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to secure alliances with premier AI technology providers
• Orchestrate the evaluation of potential partners and manage engagement across internal stakeholders and external executives

Required qualifications

• Proven expertise in building strategic technology partnerships within the AI and cloud computing sectors
• Demonstrated success negotiating complex agreements, including OEM and revenue share models
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
• Robust technical acumen with the ability to navigate sophisticated technological frameworks
• Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English
