Job Summary
To drive growth in the Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO) sector, the remote Senior Director of Business Development will lead strategic partnerships with medical device OEMs, focusing on identifying and expanding business opportunities while managing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to enhance the CDMO business
- Build and manage a pipeline of new OEM opportunities for contract development and manufacturing
- Lead the consultative sales process from prospect identification through contract negotiation and account management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
- 10+ years of commercial leadership experience in the medical device industry
- Minimum of 5 years in business development or key account management for CDMO services
- Strong understanding of the medical device product development lifecycle
- Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage long-term partnerships
