Senior Director of Business Operations

Job Summary

As a strategic partner to the Amgen India and R&D organizations, the full-time remote Senior Director of Business Operations will oversee financial management, resource allocation, and operational efficiency within development operations while leading a global team and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Align operational plans with financial targets and prioritize GDO investments
• Translate resourcing data into actionable insights for senior leadership and business partners
• Manage staffing capacity and deliver analyses on resource demand and supply while ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints

Required qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 8 years, or Bachelor's degree and 10 years in Business Operations, Resource Planning, or Financial Management in Pharmaceutical R&D or Clinical Operations
• 10+ years of experience in financial and/or resource management within clinical operations
• Expertise in managing timelines, vendor relations, and project milestones
• Ability to analyze data for cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with vendors and senior leadership
