Senior Director of Clinical Data Management

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership and oversight for clinical data management activities, the full-time Senior Director of Clinical Data Management will manage a team, collaborate across functions, and ensure the delivery of reliable, inspection-ready clinical data in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a senior thought partner to functional leaders, contributing to program-level planning and execution strategies
• Oversee database status and ensure data review, cleaning, and lock activities are accurate and ready for analysis
• Manage vendor relationships, including authoring RFPs and negotiating budgets and contracts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Life Sciences or related discipline preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in clinical development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Strong understanding of drug development, FDA regulations, and ICH GCP guidelines
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional and international teams
• Experience managing clinical data management vendors to ensure program objectives are met
