Senior Director of Clinical Development

Job Summary

Supporting Clinical Development in Chronic Weight Management, the full-time remote Senior Director of Clinical Development will manage the global scientific/medical evidence plan, foster cross-functional collaborations, and develop key scientific relationships while providing clinical input for trials and regulatory interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development, execution, and communication of the global scientific/medical evidence plan
• Facilitate cross-functional collaborations to integrate medical, scientific, and commercial input into the development program
• Provide clinical/scientific input during the development and execution of clinical trials and regulatory interactions

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• 5 years of clinical research and/or basic science research experience
• 5 years of managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams and projects
• Clinical research experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
• In-depth understanding of clinical trial design and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
