Job Summary
Leading the Clinical Project Managers and Clinical Research Associates teams, the full-time salaried Senior Director of Clinical Operations will drive strategic decisions, manage departmental budgets for profitability and compliance, and spearhead process improvements to enhance operational efficiency in oncology trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and mentor clinical teams while guiding study teams through complex problem-solving
- Oversee high-value trial portfolios, partnering with Business Development for proposals and financial forecasting
- Establish operational metrics and champion continuous process improvements based on audits and data
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a life science related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive clinical development experience in a CRO or combined CRO and pharmaceutical environment
- At least 10 years of direct line management experience
- Proven track record of developing and leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in oncology
