Senior Director of Clinical Operations

Job Summary

Leading a team of Clinical Project Managers and Clinical Research Associates, the full-time salaried Senior Director of Clinical Operations will drive strategic decisions, manage departmental budgets, and enhance operational efficiency in the oncology trial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor Clinical Project Management and CRA teams to develop future leaders
• Oversee high-value trial portfolios and collaborate with Business Development on proposals
• Establish operational metrics and champion process improvements based on data and audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive clinical development experience in a CRO or combined CRO and pharmaceutical environment
• At least 10 years of direct line management experience
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oncology
