Senior Director of Communications

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive communications strategies to support campaign and movement goals
• Lead media relations, crisis communications, and oversee digital engagement and advocacy campaigns
• Supervise a remote communications team and manage the production of various communications materials

Required Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in communications strategy within progressive organizing or advocacy environments
• A minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role supervising staff
• Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills
• Proven ability to develop and execute integrated communications strategies
• Experience working with labor unions and/or member-based community organizations
