Senior Director of Community Finance

Job Summary

Leading the design and advancement of financial solutions for Indigenous Peoples and local communities, the full-time Senior Director of Community Bioeconomy Finance will manage strategies to mobilize and structure finance, strengthen local financial ecosystems, and build partnerships while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-design inclusive community bioeconomy finance strategies across priority landscapes
• Support the development and scaling of locally governed financial institutions serving Indigenous Peoples and local communities
• Build relationships with stakeholders to mobilize capital and represent the organization in global finance and conservation forums

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in development finance, impact investment, or related fields
• Advanced degree in economics, finance, economic development, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience working with local financial institutions such as SACCOs or community funds
• Experience designing blended finance structures or catalytic capital mechanisms
• Fluency in English; ability to work in Spanish strongly preferred
