Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Conventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of the organization's event strategy and manage the Conventions team
• Plan and oversee major events, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor negotiations
• Develop and implement strategies for revenue and attendance growth for key conventions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent; CEM or CMP desirable
• 15+ years of management-level experience in a convention department or trade show organization
• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial decision-making
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders
• Experience in guiding teams through change and enhancing organizational agility
