Senior Director of Cybersecurity Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a multi-team organization, the full-time Senior Director of Cybersecurity Engineering will manage the strategy and delivery of Cloud & Infrastructure Security Engineering, Identity & Access Engineering, and Product/Application Security while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, primarily in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the roadmap and delivery for security engineering across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment with compliance obligations
• Lead and develop a team of security engineering professionals, setting clear technical standards and practices
• Drive secure practices across Azure and other cloud environments, embedding security into the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in security engineering and cloud security roles
• 6+ years of experience leading security engineering teams in a SaaS or cloud-native environment
• Deep, hands-on expertise in Azure security engineering and familiarity with multi-cloud environments
• Proven ability to navigate the intersection of engineering systems, security controls, and regulatory frameworks
• Experience operating in an audited environment with a solid understanding of compliance controls and evidence generation
