Senior Director of Data

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Data to oversee its end-to-end data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and own the company-wide data strategy across engineering, analytics, acquisition, and operations
• Lead the design and evolution of the data architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Oversee data quality, governance, and operational rigor across all data systems

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or analytics with significant leadership scope
• 6+ years of experience leading senior managers and/or directors in complex data organizations
• Proven experience with end-to-end data systems in a production, cloud-based environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Deep understanding of large-scale data ingestion, pipelines, and operational reliability using Apache Spark
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
