Senior Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Data and Analytics Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term roadmap for analytics engineering and data architecture
• Oversee the evolution of SQL-based data modeling and warehouse optimization strategies
• Act as the primary point of accountability for BI outcomes and foster a data-driven culture

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data/Analytics Engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Expert-level command of SQL, dbt, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks)
• Deep experience with enterprise-grade Tableau environments
• Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering talent
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
