Senior Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a team of data engineers and business intelligence specialists, the full-time Senior Director of Data Engineering & Business Intelligence will oversee the development of scalable data infrastructure and innovative analytics solutions in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring a team to build and maintain automated data pipelines and models
• Overseeing the architecture and design of the business intelligence ecosystem for internal and client-facing environments
• Driving innovation by integrating new data sources and enhancing reporting interfaces and analytics tools

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics, preferably within an advertising agency or client environment
• 5+ years in a leadership or management role
• Proven experience with SQL and building scalable data pipelines using tools like dbt
• Expertise in cloud data platforms such as BigQuery and orchestration tools like Airflow
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT workflows and data warehousing best practices
