Job Summary

Leading a transformative team, the full-time remote Senior Director of Data Engineering will oversee a multi-faceted organization, define the long-term technology vision, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance data capabilities while mentoring senior leaders in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for a Data Engineering organization across multiple product lines
• Define and champion the technology vision, data analytics, and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Lead and mentor senior data engineering leaders, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in data utilization

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of extensive experience in data engineering
• 7+ years in executive leadership roles overseeing large, complex engineering organizations
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven track record of defining and executing enterprise-wide data strategy with significant business impact
• Deep understanding of current and emerging data processing technologies and architectural paradigms
