Senior Director of Data Governance

Job Summary

Driving the execution of a comprehensive data governance strategy, the full-time Senior Director of Data Governance will operationalize and scale a global framework, transforming data ecosystems to enhance business growth and innovation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the overarching data strategy into a multi-year Enterprise Data & Model Governance roadmap aligned with commercial growth objectives
• Shift the perception of data governance from a compliance function to a value-creation engine, ensuring data quality accelerates business development
• Lead and mentor a centralized team of data governance experts while fostering a culture of data literacy across the organization

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Enterprise Data Strategy, with 3-5 years in a senior management role
• Proven track record of linking data governance execution to revenue generation and operational efficiencies
• Demonstrated ability to drive cultural shifts in large organizations towards unified data ecosystems
• Deep familiarity with modern data architectures and enterprise governance platforms, specifically Collibra
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
