Senior Director of Data Management
Job Summary
Driving Versapay's enterprise data strategy, the full-time Senior Director of Data Management will manage the convergence of transactional, operational, and behavioral data layers into a unified operational backbone while ensuring data governance and quality in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the enterprise data strategy aligned with product and AI objectives
- Operationalize data governance and establish an Enterprise Data Catalogue for improved data accessibility
- Lead and develop the Data Platform Team, fostering collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Commercial functions
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data leadership, with at least 5+ years at the Director level
- Proven track record of modernizing complex data environments, preferably in a SaaS or fintech context
- Deep expertise in modern data stacks, including cloud data warehouses and ETL frameworks
- Experience with AI and ML infrastructure related to data governance and compliance
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex data concepts to executive audiences
