Senior Director of Demand Planning

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Demand Planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure alignment between commercial sales forecasts and operational supply chain plans
• Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts in line with the company's commercial strategy and market trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create inventory strategies that meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management in a large, complex global environment
• Extensive experience in implementing and managing the S&OP process
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and ability to translate commercial plans into actionable solutions
• Experience with advanced forecasting and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA) and proficiency in reporting tools like Power BI or Excel
